BPIA hosted its 2022 Annual Meeting in Monterey, CA on May 17-18. During that meeting, there were multiple sessions discussing the recently introduced Plant Biostimulant Act of 2022 and looking at the current state of biostimulants in the United States including regulations, market expansion, and their role in plant health. The event was BPIA’s biggest Annual Meeting yet with hundreds of attendees including speakers from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR), and the Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) providing updates on a wide variety of topics relevant to the biological products industry.
