Kevin Hillemeyer has been with Oil-Dri Corporation of America for 11 years and is a Senior Sales Representative for the Crop and Horticultural Division. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Journalism, focusing on technical writing in their Health, Science, and Environment program. When the program wasn’t taking him behind the scenes at Chicago’s Field Museum or to a paleontology dig in New Mexico, Kevin wrote and read extensively about the innovations taking place in agriculture. His interests in sustainability and stewardship coincide with the shifting demands of the agricultural industry and he hopes his role as an advocate for biological solutions will create the successful partnerships needed to drive the market forward. As a Co-Chair of BPIA’s Specialty Markets committee for the past two years, he looks to transform and leverage the expertise of the BPIA membership to better listen to and engage with the thought-leaders of the industry. He believes everything begins with understanding the needs of all stakeholders, and persistence, creativity, and partnerships ultimately drive value and true innovation. Kevin lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three young daughters. Oil-Dri is an 82-year-old company supplying sorbent mineral granules for traditional Agricultural chemicals and a new platform of functionalized granules (ProVas®) for the Biological market.
