Rick Melnick has more than 25 years of experience in the global commercial agriculture space with expertise in biopesticides, crop protection, branding, marketing, and strategic marketing communications. Rick joined the industry in 1995 as an ag editor with Meister Media Worldwide, and left the company as its Corporate Editorial Director in 2011. After being named to the BPIA Board in 2008, Rick was elected its Chairman in 2013, a position he held for two terms (2019). In 2011, Rick joined Valent BioSciences VBC where he led the company’s corporate branding initiatives and its content and marketing campaign development serving the Crop Protection, PGR, Public Health, and Forest Health businesses. Rick joined DunhamTrimmer in 2019 and in addition to managing key projects, he is now the lead editor for the company’s 2BMonthly interests and DunhamTrimmer’s Global Market Reports. He also directs the company’s Strategic Communications business unit.
