Hiltz BioAg Consulting is focused on assisting companies navigate the research, development, competitive differentiation, and global registration of plant biostimulants.  The company is incorporated in Nova Scotia Canada and is led by David Hiltz, a biochemist and recognized technical expert in algal extracts and plant biostimulants.

With almost 30 years of Technology and Regulatory expertise and leadership under his belt, David has led teams spanning fundamental research, process and product development, and regulatory and commercial science.  In his previous role, David most recently led a Global team focused on registration of seaweed-based plant biostimulants around the world.  Achievements included registrations in more than 50 countries and obtaining one of the first CE registrations of a plant biostimulant under the newly published EU Fertilizer Products Regulation.

David’s contributions to the biostimulant industry have been recognized with election to the Board of Directors of both the European Biostimulant Industry Council (EBIC) and the Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA).
