David Hiltz

David Hiltz is the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at Acadian Seaplants Limited. A senior member of the Portfolio Development Group, David has worked for the past 25 years on processes to transform marine algae plant biostimulants and studying the biochemical composition and effects of these product on crops. In recent years his efforts have focused on providing scientific guidance for global regulatory affairs and representing Acadian in a variety of global biostimulant Industry Alliance organizations including EBIC, BPIA, and FSAC. David holds BS/MS degrees in Plant Biochemistry from Mount Allison University and lives with his family in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
