Amy P. Roberts Ms. Roberts’ expertise includes screening new active ingredients for registerability, negotiating data requirements, supervising and monitoring contract studies, preparing a complete registration package and effectively following up to ensure successful registration. Ms. Roberts is a founding member of the Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA) – the trade association for this industry segment – and sits on that group’s Board of Directors. In addition, she is the former chair of the Regulatory Committee and functions as the BPIA representative in a coalition of industry trade groups on pesticide issues.
Prior to TSG, Ms. Roberts was the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Bactec Corporation, where she directed global registration of agricultural biologicals and chemicals. Ms. Roberts managed cooperative efforts with the USDA to develop new pest control technologies and was involved in the product development of USDA licensed inventions. During her tenure as Regulatory Affairs Manager at EcoScience Corporation, she was responsible for worldwide registration of household and agricultural pesticide products, coordinating in-house Quality Control and Quality Assurance efforts and managing all contract work to support registrations. While at EcoScience, Ms. Roberts was a member of the National Coalition for IPM and was the regulatory liaison to an international committee on biological pesticide safety issues. Also before joining TSG, Ms. Roberts established APR Consulting to provide expert assistance on pesticide registrations, issues, and regulatory compliance. Ms. Roberts successfully registered new products in Latin America and handled maintenance of existing registrations for clients without in-house regulatory support.
