The Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA) applauds Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman (R-AR) for releasing the Senate Farm Bill legislative text and continuing efforts to move this critical legislation forward. We are encouraged to see the inclusion of Plant Biostimulant Act language in the legislative text. Establishing a clear federal framework for plant biostimulants would provide long-needed regulatory certainty, support innovation, and help ensure America’s farmers have access to technologies that improve productivity, nutrient efficiency, soil health, and resilience. With the House having already passed its Farm Bill, BPIA encourages the Senate Agriculture Committee to build on this momentum and advance a bipartisan Farm Bill through committee before the August recess.
